The main screen lists all herbs alphabetically. Use the search bar at the top to find herbs by name, symptom, method of use, or plant family. Tap any herb to see full details.
Tap the Symptoms tab. Browse symptoms by category or search using the bar. Tap a symptom to find matching herbs. Select multiple symptoms and use Match ANY or Match ALL to refine results.
Tap the 🫙 jar icon on any herb card to add it to your personal cabinet. Tap the 🧺 Cabinet button at the top of the browse screen to filter and see only your saved herbs.
Open any herb and scroll to the bottom to find your personal notes journal. Add timestamped notes about your experiences, dosage adjustments, or observations. Notes are private and stored on your device only.
Tap the Journal tab to track your herb use and how you feel over time. Each entry has a mood selector, optional herb field, and your notes. Entries are saved locally and backed up to the server.
Tap the Swap tab to browse community listings. Post your own listing to swap, sell, buy, or give away herbs and plants. Choose your listing type, fill in the details, and tap Post Listing. Tap Remove my listing when it is no longer available.
Tap the Map tab to see where community members have spotted herbs growing in the wild. Add your own sighting with the herb name, location, and coordinates. Use the Use My Current Location button to fill in coordinates automatically.
The Community tab shows herbs submitted and approved by other HerbWiki users. Tap Add a Herb to contribute your own knowledge to the library.
Tap the Add tab. Fill in the details and choose to Save Privately (only you see it) or Save & Submit to Community (sent for review to appear for everyone).
On any herb detail page, tap 🖨 Print for a clean printable version, or ↗ Share to copy herb details to your clipboard to send to someone else.
Tap the ⬇ button in the top bar to download a backup of your personal herb library as a CSV file. To restore, tap ⬇ again and use the Import option.
💡 The app works offline automatically — your herbs are saved to your device and available without internet.
